Date the Woman Your Mother Prayed For

A friend of mine, (who is gonna kill me for friendzoning him) pointed out that I blog a lot, and I do mean A loooot about men and relationships, but from the female point of view, so today, I will do one for the books. One that will go down in history....my post today shall be a dedication to the men.
This is the male version of "Date the Woman your Mother Prayed For". The title remains the same, because dads do not really give a rat's ass (pardon my language) about who their sons marry. If anything, some even want a piece of that arse! (This is where you curse....you're welcome)
This post is written to help men realise what kind of woman they should date, and the one they should delete from their lives...permanently! Starting out, I thought this waas pretty easy. I mean, don't date a gold digger, a whore, a gossip, a flirt...I could go on and on..
Truth is, each and every man is different. I saw this yesterday, and my first reaction was to laugh out loud. Then it hit me how true this actually is.

 So, as usual, this is a checklist, men...see how many your current girl got. Ladies, check yourself see where you lie.

Purity
Did I just mention that horrid word? Well, in this day and age, people say that virgins are hard to find.
 Yeah, most men would want this kind of girl, right?
 But that is all in the mind. The church has a lot of work to do when it comes to matters sex. The other time Mavuno tried it, it was not received well. The society could not believe that their teenage daughters were gerring it and they were having a dry spell of the millenium! Well, men again are different. There are those who just cannot deal with virgins. Too much emotions and attachments. So, they want that one who is 'experienced'. the thing about you sleeping with someone and all the others they have slept with may apply here, but all in all, the individual man is the one who will choose. Question is, though, how experienced are we talking? We have heard of such stories...
 Purity is all in the mind, I guess, So, if you are a man and you get the 'pure' girl, lucky you. Hope you will be 'pure' too. It would be a waste for her to be 'pure' and you ain't.

Your lady should take care of you
I can hear the men cheering as I type this. This may be financially, but I also mean, in all aspects of the word. Does she try to find out what is really going on in your life? Or do you shut her out even when she tries? Sure, you got hurt by that girl, but this is a different girl. She is trying to get to know you. Let her. Allow her in your heart and mind. Maybe this one will be different. When you go out to eat, does she serve you first, or does she eat first then you sort yourself out? No, she will not mother you, so please do not compare her to your mother. Or you be be smothered...with a pillow.

Your lady should love you for you
Okay, you had a messed up childhood, but does that mean you want to mess up the rest of your life? No, it is not worth it. The Good Lord did not intend for you to live with a dark cloud hoveering above your head. In fact, Jeremiah 29:11 says:
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future."
Right now, maybe you are still trying to get a job, and your girlfriend was born in the money. You may not give her fine dining, but she knows that you are working to get your own. If she is worth it, she will stick with you, and be that woman everyone speaks about that is always behind a successful man.

Your lady should respect you
Lady lawyers are feared by men, mostly because they know their rights more than the lay women, and always want an explanation for everything. If you happen to date a lawyer, clears throat, and you are always at logger heads, even when you like a challenge, and you find that she is too much, just call it quits. Life is hard enough, you do not need to add more problems.

Your lady should make you happy
When you wake up in the morning, the first person you should think of is your girlfriend. When you sleep, she should be the last one you talk to. If she isn't the person you talk to on these two most important times of the day, then you should be with that person who occupies those times. Every time you meet your girlfriend, it should be a moment of utter happiness and pure laughter. There might be a moment of sadness, but neither of you should be the ones bringing it. If you leave your girlfriend feeling worse than when you met her, please exit that relationship. It is not fair to you or her.

Your lady should motivate you to be a better You
The best motivator is yourself, but your lady should make you want to strive to achieve more. Be it in academics, career, business, even family life, you want to be better just because, even she is better.

Do not entertain an insecure chic
I am still battling this myself, but do not make your girl insecure. Do not make her feel like she has to prove to you why she qualifies to be your chic. Tell her your secrets. Share with her your fears. You don't want a crazy bitch blowing up your phone asking you where you were and who you were with, because that does not look or sound pretty. Let her know what you're up to so that she knows that you are okay, and that there is no need for her to worry.

Your lady should have a relationship with God
Yes, I know you just dropped your can of beer, but it is true. God makes things work out, and for good. Remember Romans 8:28? Yeah, fine, your girl volunteers in church. Sure, she sings in the choir so that means you can only see her after 5. Sunday is another day where she has meeting after meeting. Be patient, she will not refuse coffee or ice cream afterwards, besides, at least you know she ain't cheating...

This list is not exhaustive, but this should work out till I get more pointers. I know I have a long, and I do mean looong way to go, but I am on track. Sijalegea...
